How to install your surf traction grips?
Zero complications; You only need to spend a few minutes and put a little geometric eye on it without having to be an expert to install your surf traction grips.
You will need to:
- Your table (very clean and without traces of wax or any type of residue).
- Our hexagonal patches that you will find in your Tote bag.
- The guide piece that you will find together with your pads.
Below we summarize the simple installation in 3 steps.
Step 1 – Distribution of traction pads:
Without detaching the pieces, place them in your Flysurf to display the layout pattern of the pieces. You can take a photo with your mobile and so you will have a visual reference at hand when you paste them.
PStep 2 – First pad:
Start assembling the mosaic with the first hexagon. Take as reference the upper plug of the central keel and the central stringer to place the first piece, as we show in the following image.
Try not to touch the sticky part of the pieces with your fingers.
Step 3 – Paste the rest of the pads:
Using the guide that came with your pack of hex traction pads, begin placing the remaining hexagons along your softboard. Flysurf, following the design you had established in step 1.
Here is an assembly proposal for the pads. Remember that the advantage is that you can adapt its position to your measurements. The key areas of adherence are the feet and the hands when they help us to pop-up.
